PsyNote is based on an electronic medical record (EMR). EMR is a digital version of a paper chart that contains all of patient's medical history from one practice. An EMR is mostly used by providers for diagnosis and treatment. They also comply with all HIPAA compliance and section 490 security requirements. The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) is a US healthcare law that establishes requirements for the use, disclosure, and safeguarding of individually identifiable health information. It applies to covered entities-doctor's offices, hospitals, health insurers, and other healthcare companies with access to patients' protected health information (PHI), as well as to business associates, such as cloud service and IT providers, that process PHI on their behalf. (Most covered entities do not carry out functions such as claims or data processing on their own; they rely on business associates to do so.)
Program Objective
System have been providing clinical professionals with a variety of services including billing, credentialing, consulting, training, expert witness, and more. Their objectives are:

- Attach files to patient records; PDF, DOC, JPG, PNG, XLS PQRS built in now, designed to remind you of all CMS required elements
- Print, Email, or Fax notes, all secure, right from app
- Saves often used entries for one click paste
- Level two signature option where needed
- Auto saves all entries while working
TechCompiler Solution
TechCompiler helps to implement new features and support existing functionality and process in the system. Implemented billing process that generates reports for patients and flow of this report is managed by EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) to improve transaction speed and visibility while decreasing the amount of money you spend on manual processes. Implemented supervisor or QA signatures that can be turned on or off for the billing process. Implemented auto saves all entries while working on system.

How It Works
This application helps psychologist and psychiatrist automatically submits billing at their direction and confirms successful submission, if it falls within the following process:
